First of all, Cory Wilson really truly helped me
First of all, Cory Wilson really truly helped me. Within one month of me retaining Cory, the Crown withdrew. I literally did nothing wrong and don’t do anything unlawful, and as a result of a miscommunication and negligence/incompetence on behalf of the police when investigating nuisance complaints made by a nutter, I was implicated in a kafkaesque situation and experience similar to something you’d read in an Orwell novel. The cop fudged the facts on nearly all the documents, even my date of birth. The longer the whole thing went on, the crazier the rabbit hole tunnel got. It was like quicksand. I literally had email evidence to prove I did nothing wrong, and every time I tried to show it at court, to prove I was not guilty, I was ignored and told words to the effect “you and everybody else. back in line”, like court resources didn’t even matter and grew on trees. On my first court attendance, the crown didn’t even show up and they didn’t even know who it was that was assigned, so they spent 40 minutes finding that out and looking for the Crown, while other people (probably falsely accused as well) were waiting under covid condition in custody. After multiple adjournments, courts and prosecutors wouldn’t even let me enter not guilty despite repeated requests I do so. After thousands of wasted public tax dollars and unnecessary court resources spent and multiple attended appearances (more than ten), mind you at a time when courts are struggling to provide justice, the Crown and rookie police officer (who is now suspended, on leave and soon to be sued) realized they made a mistake and instead of owning it, appeared to have tried to cover it up, and Cory wouldn’t stand for it as an officer of the court which all lawyers are. After I retained him, Cory really fought hard for me, and I truly felt it, until the end. Thank you so much for helping me Cory. I have recommended you to all of my friends, acquaintances and family, and you are one of a kind. 10 stars out of 5.

I retained Cory Wilson after a sibling brought false charges of abuse against my brother and me from almost 50 years ago. Although the charges were directed at my brother and me, her motives were far more sinister than the two of us who were charged. It was an attack on the whole family whom she viewed had abandoned her, when in fact she estranged herself by not taking responsibility for her own poor choices in life.
She had painted a masterful web of lies for the Crown. She attempted to corroborate her lies with a combination of circumstantial evidence, false testimony, and testimony she claimed from people who were dead, including our deceased mother.
After I told Cory my story and provided him with every bit of evidence that I could muster he was able to unravel her web of lies and expose every one of them so that both my brother and I were exonerated of any charges.

Mr. Wilson recently represented me on a matter in which the police claimed I refused to provide a breath sample when they thought I was drinking. To say Cory is on top of his game would not be doing justice to his ability to represent me and clear my name from the charges I faced. What resonated with me the most was the fact that by the time we had our interview? Cory knew my case. I can’t begin to explain the relief to feel that someone believed my story and what’s more, saw the many gaping flaws in the prosecution case.
I was wrongfully arrested and charged for a domestic assault based on only one side of a story with no interest from the involved police service to obtain my side. I watched Cory unravel the story from the witness and show it to be the sham it was. Time and time again he caught her out in her errors. She had no answer to many of his questions. I was found not guilty. Cory not only saved my career, he saved the access to my children that I almost lost based on the allegations.
Further to this, I was further arrested and charged on more allegations stemming from the initial arrest with the same witness giving testimony. Cory once again reviewed my file and discussed with me options on what action we should be taking. I watched again as Cory thoroughly cross-examined each and every witness on stand. I had full confidence in his ability to glean important information from each witness and use it to paint a much more accurate picture for the judge than was presented by the prosecution.
I watched Cory take the prosecutor’s closing argument and show its many flaws. He didn’t miss one single item that needed to be said in court. At the end of the trial, the Judge couldn’t have agreed more with Cory’s summation when he delivered his verdict of not guilty.
Once again, Cory had saved my career and preserved the last of the dignity that I had been left with after two flawed investigations against me. I couldn’t and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cory for any criminal matters that need a thorough and detailed defense. He is a phenomenal lawyer but on top of that, he is a good, decent human being also. His passion for defending the innocent is only exceeded by his skills in doing so.

I was charged with a bunch of drug offences and a couple of breaches. The police found the drugs with me in my car and I didn’t think I had any chance of beating the charges. I then got breached a couple of times while I was out on bail. Cory was able to get me out of Remand on the first day after I was arrested on the breach charges. We went to trial and Cory was able to get all the drugs found in my car excluded from evidence and I was found not guilty. Cory then got the prosecutors to withdraw the breach charges. I can’t say enough good things about Cory Wilson as my defence lawyer. I had never hired a lawyer before and when I first spoke with him on the phone he put me at ease. I was charged with a DUI and possession of cocaine after the police searched my car. I went to court on my first appearance and was going to plead guilty because I didn’t think I had a chance of winning the case. Cory Wilson was in the courtroom and the judge asked if he would talk with me before I pled guilty so I understood the consequences. For free, Cory explained to me what would happen if I pled guilty including the potential for never being able to cross the USA border with a cocaine conviction. I asked the judge to adjourn my date so that I could hire a lawyer – the judge told me that was a great decision to make. I then retained Cory and he told me that after reviewing the disclosure he saw a serious breach of my rights. Cory filed paperwork telling the judge that the police illegally searched my car and illegally took my breath samples. The judge agreed even though the prosecutor said there was nothing wrong with what the police did. The judge then found me not guilty.
